The benefits of monogamy. Are there any?

BONNETH · April 11, 2021 ·

One of the thoughts most often real men in day-to-day life at one point become conflicted about is a temptation from the so-called tempting apple of non-monogamy.

Sticking to women is not as undesirable nor an arduous challenge as it’s being led out to look like; in fact, it is beneficial. This association of masculine growth is beginning to hold this popular image and cliche of men sowing their wild oats so to speak as a necessary condition before settling down. But chances are you are missing out on a lot of the benefits of monogamy.

Here is a list of six benefits:

1). Having bounded loyalty

If we think about loyalty it’s becoming akin to finding Atlantis; slim to none.

If you find it then keep it; having a partner who is obviously loyal with strong bonds in place that usually needs to be built over a period of time is typically supporting growth with the help of monogamous practices, and chances are your partner will be less likely to screw you over. Sticking to one woman avoiding cheating behaviors are principles that make you disciplined. A real man devotes extra time to relationships rather than the temporary pleasures resulting in a potential loyalty loss.

Women and men are measured by the integrity of their loyalty; it’s wise building a relationship with it.

2). Standards: it’s okay to have them

The bar you hold determines the quality; be wary of how you treat your standards.

Avoid one-time flings, forming bonds require time, but when we have patience we realize just how much rushing into multiple relationships can make you confused. Keep your guard up and avoiding red flag relationships embracing long-term ones should be the focus instead. Bonds are important as encouraging social relationships of intimacy is very strengthening to the relationship. It positively pushes standards leading to this collective health of the mind and body because it invites mutually beneficial competition in an effort to impress each other.

According to Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, higher standards lead to better chances of finding partners who can respectively “up their game” through respective courting rituals, and those who uphold these high standards were happier.

Love is tricky so make it easier; have high standards.

3). She will act like your best friend

Taking the time to form bonds, in addition to forming an emotional bond, they end up becoming your prized ally.

If you see these signs, run to her, and if in doubt, just do it anyways. These relationships are important and rare; a lover and friend to take to bed. It is more than just cheap loyalty and love produces loyalty as a consequence; reap these benefits. Having a best friend is having someone you can laugh with, a shoulder to lean on in your most vulnerable state, and someone who respects boundaries in all facets of your life.

4). No drama

There is a key benefit of this monogamous arrangement, and this can’t be stressed enough; no drama.

A good arrangement, although drama will come eventually sprinkled in here and there, at least we know long-term relationship drama is meaningful drama. It sometimes becomes difficult to deal with like a wildfire, not tame, but it’s why you avoid multiple-headache-filled situations causing unneeded stress.

Guide it out of your life and do not stay in it drama always tends to do more harm than good.

5). Choosing Cinderella

Find your Cinderella who will say whatever is on their mind; dig claws into you making an honest man & a real man.

They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but if you meet them for the first time you should. Meeting multiple people the first time over and over again leaves you vulnerable to forgoing any possible worthwhile relationships since these temporary relationships cut short leaving self-growth lacking a good support system. Avoiding short timelines and short-term relationships is advisable.

Success and self-growth have never been more synonymous with success than it is today; choose the right Cinderella.

6). Focus

Having multiple women means multiple priorities, but sticking to one woman might just give you the advantage in life your working for.

Going back to the idea of bonds, having someone who genuinely cares for you, goes beyond the superficial appeal. One of the most favorable aspects of a man who sticks to one partner is they tend to know how to do things in order of importance, balancing with other responsibilities. Having a strong monogamous relationship forcing the individual to become his priority means he will prioritize your interests and activities; it encourages time management skills and speaks to character.
